Thyroid hormones are modulators of cardiac function and conduction with proarrhytmic and antiarrhythmic effects and hypothyroidism is also associated with cardiovascular disease. We investigated the case of an elderly patient with a history of syncopes to investigate the arrhythmic risk in a patient with bundle branch block and abnormal thyroid function.
